Izglītības ģeogrāfija Saldus novadā: bērnu un jauniešu izvietojuma iezīmes

Bakalaura darbā “Izglītības ģeogrāfija Saldus novadā: bērnu un jauniešu izvietojuma iezīmes” tiek analizētas pārmaiņas bērnu un jauniešu izvietojumā Saldus novada pagastos un ciemos. Bērnu un jauniešu izvietojumam raksturīga augsta koncentrācija novada centrālajā daļā, īpaši izglītības iestāžu tiešā tuvumā. Visos novada ciemos un pagastos jauniešu vecumā līdz 24 gadiem vidū dominē skolas vecuma bērni vecumā no 7 līdz 17 gadiem. Izvietojuma izmaiņās būtisks faktors ir iedzīvotāju sastāva novecošanās un depopulācija. This review examines how well children of immigrants in Europe are doing in terms of educational, psychological, and behavioral outcomes. Based on theory and research in developmental, social and acculturation psychology fields, we explore the immigrant paradox (e.g., first-generation immigrant children show better adaptation in comparison to their native and second-generation counterparts) and migration morbidity (e.g., immigrants display less favorable outcomes than natives) in 102 studies conducted in 14 European countries. The story of Pitkis-Sport in Satakunnan kansa : content analysis of newspaper articles on a children and youth sports camp

This study examines the media publicity of Pitkis-Sport, a children and youth sports camp, in Satakunnan Kansa, a regional newspaper. The representations of Pitkis-Sport in the paper during the camp’s 50 years of history from 1963 to 2013 will be explored by using qualitative content analysis. Furthermore, changes in the coverage between the decades will be highlighted. The study aims to find out more about how child and youth sports and physical activities are reported in Finnish regional newspapers. Valtti-ohjelma lisäsi erityistä tukea tarvitsevien lasten ja nuorten fyysistä aktiivisuutta ja liikunnan harrastamista

Erityistä tukea tarvitsevien lasten ja nuorten fyysinen aktiivisuus on vähäisempää kuin vammattomilla lapsilla ja nuorilla. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää Valtti-ohjelman vaikutuksia 6–23-vuotiaiden erityislasten ja -nuorten fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen ja liikunnan harrastamiseen. Kaikkiaan 367 erityislasta ja -nuorta ympäri Suomea hakivat mukaan Valtti-ohjelmaan ja heistä 155 (68 % poikia, ikä ka 12.2 vuotta) osallistuivat tähän tutkimukseen. Artykuł dotyczy rozważań nad zjawiskiem cyberagresji w kontekście zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa cyfrowego dzieci i młodzieży. Jest to problem, którego muszą być świadome wszystkie osoby korzystające z internetu, w tym nauczyciele, aby mogli skutecznie realizować działania zwiększające kompetencje cyfrowe młodego pokolenia. Głównym celem opracowania było przedstawienie skali zjawiska cyberagresji oraz zaprezentowanie badań dotyczących świadomości występowania tego problemu wśród nauczycieli szkół gimnazjalnych z terenu miasta Opole.

Sequence analysis is increasingly used in the social sciences for the holistic analysis of life-course and other longitudinal data. The usual approach is to construct sequences, calculate dissimilarities, group similar sequences with cluster analysis, and use cluster membership as a dependent or independent variable in a regression model. This approach may be problematic, as cluster memberships are assumed to be fixed known characteristics of the subjects in subsequent analyses.
